Successfactory™ really did provide the full package for Bio-Rad Laboratories Deeside Ltd. Having identified various skills gaps within our organisation, I met with two training consultants, who readily visited the site, spent just the right amount of time with me to fully understand what was required, and came up with the perfect proposal of how to fill the gap.

The proposal was a four day programme, which would show the supervisors and managers at Bio-Rad Laboratories Deeside Ltd how much we can achieve through implementation of the tools and skills that Successfactory™ were to equip us with.

Successfactory™ focused upon building the core skills of the supervisor & management level staff through an engaging, highly experiential, practical and relevant course.  Staff were equipped with the essential building blocks for good leadership and management using various tools that can be applied to improve and enhance all possible situations they’ll be confronted with in the future.

The knowledge base of both of the training consultants involved showed that not only do they provide a link to the most current and relevant management tools that exist, but their personal commitment to learning new research in the field means that Bio-Rad Laboratories Deeside Ltd can now be tapped into established best practices and future emerging tools.

All staff enjoyed the days and have taken the ideas, tools and advice forward into their roles to great benefit of the site. We all look forward to working with Successfactory™ in the future! Thanks!

Alison has worked with a number of schools, and Inclusion Education teams, across Cheshire.  She is an inspirational trainer who delivers excellent sessions, which inspire confidence and lead to quality outcomes.  Alison ‘walks the talk,’ modelling effective teaching and learning throughout her training sessions.  Alison personifies the art of the possible; she is the most positive person I have ever worked with and this has enabled the Local Authority to deliver high risk training which has exceeded delegate expectations.  Her support for individual schools has lead to a greater sense of purpose, shared values and the development of effective teams.  I cannot praise her highly enough and would endorse her work without reservation.

Our learning and development team are currently rolling out a coaching program across the company. A key element of the programme relates to Coach Congruence (authenticity). Whilst much has been written about congruence, translating this material into a meaningful experience for delegates has long been a barrier which I have found difficult to overcome, until a recent experience with Successfactory™ that is. Successfactory™ delivered a truly inspirational program that allowed the team to work with horses. The challenge of how to relate and to gain the trust of such a wonderful complex being, whose world is very much in the moment, its behaviour’s truly congruent with its emotions, I found inspiring and, may I add humbling, on so many levels. Engaging congruently with the horse meant getting into its world, attempting to see things as it was currently seeing things and empathising with that; only then did I see that the barrier was my trying to work with the horse, when the real issue was gaining the trust of the horse, so it was prepared to work with me. A truly special and moving experience that I will never forget.

As you will be aware a number of us were on last week’s course and I have to say we all appear to have got a great deal from it. It certainly makes you think more about the content of presentation, the audience and how the messages can be conveyed.

Not only do my muscles ache from my achievements, my brain is also exhausted from all that I have learnt.

I feel that I have been challenged personally and realize that I was very much ignoring (or refusing to acknowledge) my weaknesses – maybe by being able to stretch myself physically, it has given me the confidence to stretch emotionally and not be so afraid of admitting my weaknesses and discussing them.

I have certainly learnt that it is okay to address these personal issues in order to make me a better manager and I have also learnt to share these issues with others whereas I would have found this impossible before this week.

The Lifo profile is certainly something I will be taking time to sit down and read thoroughly once my brain and muscles are refreshed!
