I have a dual role…
Managing Director
Internally at Successfactory it is all about creating a high performance environment where success is inevitable. So this means inspiring the vision, putting our strategy to work, enabling our team to grow and be even more successful, celebrating successes and ensuring we are having fun, developing individuals and our team by mentoring and coaching, and most of all being there for everyone.
Inspirational storyteller and leadership coach
Externally it is designing and delivering inspirational programmes for leadership teams of forward thinking organisations, teams who have the desire to be even more successful. It varies from strategy development, to developing leadership capability, to leading transformational change, to managing programmes and projects, to negotiation skills, to creating high performance teams, to sales force transformation. So my working life is extremely varied and keeps me on my toes – just how I like it!
My role is about making a difference whilst living a wonderful life.
Things are changing all the time, so it’s really important that we review and learn constantly. What have you learned from the past? This could be work related, or otherwise!
Life is too short – so make the most of now. Be yourself. No point worrying about the things you can’t control, focus on what you can control. Focus on performance. Fun is fear in disguise. Believe in yourself.
Being in the present means that we’re focused on the here and now, giving our full attention to what’s happening. How do you ensure that you’re ‘in the present’?
Being true to our purpose of making a difference, by making the commitment to do it, being willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen, and by being interested.
